Hey, looks like you've become a famous person once more. Now people are willing to group around you and to fight Zakuul Empire. They definitely have different reasons, but for now you've got a common enemy.

New base, new allies, old friends - you need to take a break and talk to them.

Choices matter

In Chapter 9 you can start your romance with either of your companions: Lana, Koth or Theron. While you're relaxing in the cantina, you'll have a talk with them. Eventually an option marked as 'Flirt' will pop up (something like I'd like to talk to you). If you choose it, the next option for each romanceable companion will appear. Keep in mind that if you were going pure DS (blew up the reactor, kille the refugees) Koth will get angry at you. Prior to the dialog with flirt options he'll tell you that he is still in your crew but he doesn't like your style. In this case you'll be locked from romance with him.
It is already confirmed that if you're romancing any of your new companions when you meet your wife / husband from pre-KOTFE story, you'll be given an option to break with Lana/ Koth/ Theron and return to your ex.

Companions: old and new

You get Theron Shan as your permanent companion in Chapter 9. His favourite gifts are Technology. Keep in mind that Theron is completely useless in Star Fortresses story arc since he cannot be summoned in any of related instances (learned this in a hard way).

You can recruit both ship droids - 2VR8 and C2N2 as your permanent companions without any additional missions from Alliance members. It doesn't matter if your character was imp or pub. Both droids like Cultural Artifacts.

You can start flirting with Theron Shan in this chapter.

Alliance alerts
 You'll receive a mission "To Find a Findsman" (you'll recruit Yuun in it) after which you'll be able to accept alerts from Alliance members and your companions. These alerts will lead to missions for recruiting pre-KOTFE companions. Keep in mind that if the alert companion was previously tied to your class (for example, if you're Jedi Consular and you're recruiting Qyzen Fezz), you'll be able to skip a part of mission requirements.


After Chapter 9 alerts are available for:
- Qyzen Fezz (Consulars can skip pre-quest)
- Eckard Lokin (Agents can skip pre-quest; mission with Qyzen must be completed to start with Lokin; recruitment can be completed only during Rakghoul event, even for Agents)
- Lt Pierce (Empire only, Sith Warriors can skip pre-quest)
- M1-4X (Republic only, Troopers can skip pre-quest)
- Talos Drelik
- Xalek
- Nico Okar (if you have used the subscriber reward token, you still can complete this quest)
- Bowdaar (via Eternal Championship)
